Bundles of Joy

Nothing beats seeing a baby’s smile after a long day at work. At MLC, we help busy dual-working parents offload weekday caretaking duties. Our kitchen specially prepares suitable food options such as warm porridge, soft cereals & mueslis and fresh fruits for a well-rounded nutritional profile. We take close note of each baby’s medications, diaper/milk requirements and allergies. To ensure safety is of utmost priority, our infant care room are carefully inspected of sharp edges and cleanliness. At end of the day, we strive to provide your baby a comfortable, safe and nurturing environment to grow.

Exploring their worlds through senses

Toddlers learn about their world through their hands and observation skills. Most important, children at this age experience separation anxiety when they’re newly enrolled into an entirely different environment where Mama and Papa are not around. With time, children will be used to their new routine in life. Toddlers will learn to develop basic motor skills, expose to immersive linguistics fun activities and build self-confidence through collaborative playtime with peers. Overtime, Toddlers at MLC will develop into a happy & confident child.

Learning Good Practices

At 3 years old, a child mind begins to absorb in knowledge about himself and his surrounding world. At this age, transitions are difficult as the child has a mindful conscious. In MLC, our teachers strive to create an assuring environment for these young children and foster their independence and social skills through our meticulous lesson plans. Our lessons weave in hands-on elements (through toys, puzzles, illustrations, drawings etc) to provide sensory experiences for their development.

Primer to Knowledge

A child at 4 begins to experience intense curiosity over how the world works. At MLC, we expose to our children a myriad of storytelling tales, engaging item identifications and many others. At MLC, children at 4 will familiarize with finer motor skills development, handwriting practices, English Vocabulary & Phonics and Mandarin recital & writing abilities. We also introduce analogies, patterns and active learning games in learning to encourage students’ motivation to learn new skills everyday.

Learn & Play

At 5 years old, children have developed strong sense of self, confidence and openness to learn & interact. Our lesson itineraries for K1 incorporates learning points where children can articulate in clear logical sentences. Time to time, we incorporate hands-on science experiments for students such as planting seeds to describe lifecycle of plants or coming out with illustrative showcase of how capillary action works in flowers through dyed water.

School Readiness

At K2, gradual acceleration of structured learning is key for a K2 child to adapt well in Primary School. The average Primary 1 class size is 35–40 compared to K2 class size of 20–25 in 2015. A child will need to adapt to higher levels of independent learning in Primary School. In MLC, we prepare a comprehensive learning pace for our K2 students in mathematics, science and linguistic skills. By end of the school year, students will showcase their performance skills through highly-coordinated by-the-second dance moves in their graduation concert. We strive to develop a well-rounded confident MLC graduate. Source: MOE
