Chinese New Year Celebrations by Wellington
This week, our children are dressed in bright shades of red to celebrate the festive season of Chinese New Year. The festival dated back in ancient China where villagers wore red and set up loud drums to scare away the mythical monster “Nian”.
Centuries later, Chinese New Year has became an occasion where family and friends reunite over a sumptuous meal. Our children played fun and games as well as learning a few traditions and practice during Chinese New Year.
We wish all our parents, staff and children a very prosperous and healthy Chinese New Year.
