MLC CNY 2019 Celebrations
In this joyous occasion, the MLC Team would like to wish all parents and our students a happy Chinese New Year.
Dressed in different outfits, the students in MLC were treated to a celebration during CNY eve. Brightly colored decors were placed in different parts of the centers to create a festive season.

MLC Graduation Concert 2018 Congratulations!
6 years old is a milestone for most children. For some, it will be preparations to enter Primary 1 while for some it is an age where they start being more self-reliant and establishing their own independence.
For our graduating students at MLC, our 6 year olds (K2) were given an important task – to perform in front of hundreds of people. Our performance ranges from quick-tempo dance moves and this year we tried more variety to entertain our parents and guests.
For MLC (Yishun) performance, our students performed a costume change in the middle of the performance! This is made possible by removable accessories attached on their costumes.
For MLC (Wellington), our students performed a short skit before the start of their dance performance titled “A Whole New World” that was featured in Disney’s Aladdin movie. A wonderful classic.
For not forgetting our signature Chinese Speech & Drama – we had our children re-enact the teachings of Sima Guang 司马光 in a short performance skit. There is always something to learn from stories in the past.
Production timeline was tight as we welcome MLC (Bedok Reservoir) in their inaugural concert performance for the first time. This will be our 7th center attending the concert and each year our MLC family gets larger.
We look forward to delighting our audiences with more exciting performance in Dec 2019. Most importantly we want our MLC graduating students to grow beyond their comfort zone and equip themselves with the best mindset for learning beyond expectations.

MLC Pasir Ris 2018
A big thank you to parents who attended our MLC Pasir Ris Open House 2018! We were heartened to see the turnout and encouraging sign-ups last Saturday. Families partake in activity booths and learning programs. Our MLC Staff also answered detailed questions parents have for us during the open house.

MLC Wellington Open House 2018
We are thrilled to wrap up our Open House events in Sep 2018 in MLC Wellington. There were fun and games with activity booth such as simple art and craft, making a necklace and even story-telling session!
The open house were held in conjunction together with MLC Wellington, MLC Canberra and MLC Sembawang.
Our teachers put in their hard work to make the event a comfortable and productive one.
For parents who attended/registered our open house, the validity of the discounts are valid until end of this year – so do act fast!

Charity Event & NDP! @ MLC Yishun
Wearing a fiery red-theme outfits, our students in MLC (Yishun) celebrated Singapore 53th birthday through songs and dance. Apart from the usual annual event celebration, our Principal Ms. Jenny also worked with Club Rainbow (Singapore) to participate in a fundraising event.
Club Rainbow supports and empower children with chronic illnesses and their families by providing relevant services that enriches their lives. We understand that it is no easy raising a family and let alone families with children that require significant resources to stay healthy.
Our students in MLC made personal handicrafts and proudly exhibited their art-work to visiting parents of our center. Parents then can donate an amount they like to support the cause. We are proud to announce that MLC Yishun has raised a total of $1,220 for Club Rainbow. All proceeds with be directly donated to the charity.
We hope to take this opportunity to educate our children by leading as example. By showing care and concern in our society, we take one small step towards a more inclusive Singapore through Yishun’s fundraising.

Racial Harmony Day 2018
Dressed in colourful multicultural outfits, students in MLC (Canberra) commemorated Racial Harmony Day on 20th July 2018 and reflected on, appreciate and celebrate our success as a harmonious nation built on a rich diversity of culture and heritage. The students participated and enjoyed in a short performances and engaged in an activities on raising funds for children in CLUB Rainbow Singapore.
As we celebrated our Racial Harmony with a charity touch, most of our Charity items were sold like ‘hot cakes’ as the parents really portrayed the spirit of sharing with their kindest hearts. Parents, you are really good Role Models for our little MLCs! Not only that the parents have played a part in educating charity to our MLCs on our cultural heritage but also that they are involved in a session of bonding with one another with our MLC family.
